The beginning of autumn

Is marked by changing light, softer now, glowing.

The air smells of fresh earth

And the leaves begin to change their dress:

Colours of yellow, of orange and red.

Now it’s time to reminisce

About times when there was only you and me

And the dark clouds outside.
