Bavarian tent wedding

Maria had been following me a long time on Social Media and when she and Mathias got engaged, she asked me to be their wedding photographer. The thing is, many couples might think it’s essential to book a photographer, who lives nearby. But I believe this is wrong. If you find the ONE photographer that appeals to you – in terms of style and personality – the distance doesn’t matter.

I’m always so honoured to have my client’s full trust and this is why I was very happy to travel 600 km into the beautiful Bavarian Burghausen to capture this beautiful wedding. The Getting Ready took place in their appartment and it was very intense for bride and groom to hide from each other. The civil wedding ceremony took then place in the beautiful old and very colourful city centre of Burghausen and after that, we went on to party in a big tent with turquoise and grey coloured decorations.

My personal highlight on this beautiful day was the golden-hour portrait shoot in the middle of a field, singing „I’ll make a man out of you“ from Disney’s Mulan. That’s how you know you absolutely LOVE your clients – when they’re just as crazy and life-loving as you!
